I am an Abstract Artist based in Dorset, England. I was born in Luton, Bedfordshire, in 1946, and have lived a life of creativity and resilience.

Despite a difficult early childhood marked by family trauma, I found art and music as my escape from reality, and I immersed myself in creativity. I attended art college for a short period of time, until my music took over, playing drums in the early 1960s music scene. Today, at the age of 78, I am still playing in my Blues Band. However, my early desire to be an artist has been rekindled in the last few years.

My art is very personal and comes from my heart. It is an emotional and visual representation of inner landscapes shaped by memories and my music. I believe that abstract art is the true art form and comes from the heart and inner workings of the artist's mind. There is no guide and nothing to copy, just creativity. It is practically impossible to copy anyone else's work, believe me, in the early days, I tried.

There is nothing more exciting and terrifying than a blank canvas. How will the painting start, and where will it end? At this time, the abstract artist has absolutely no idea, and that's why it's exciting. One of the things I often think about when I sell a painting is where it will go, and whether it will inspire the buyer, and wonder how many times the viewer will wonder at its complexity.
